  1. I’m amazed that an article this nasty—‘Mistah Friedman’ the slave owner?—and easily shown to contain a false assertion that Friedman was a supporter of Augusto Pinochet, is even allowed into a legitimate scholarly publication.

    Galbraith couldn’t bother to check his facts by reading ‘Two Lucky People’ before attacking Friedman? The editors should not allow his slander to go uncorrected.
